Terms of Service

This is an English translation of the Polish terms, provided for convenience. In case of any discrepancy, the Polish version prevails.
1. Who runs this site
filipgorgo.com and whatsupstartup.com are run by Filip Gorgolewski as a private individual.

2. What you will find here

3. Newsletter
You subscribe by entering your e-mail address and confirming the subscription. You unsubscribe with one click in the footer of any e-mail, no reason needed. The newsletter is free and may include information about my own products.
4. Job board
Listings come from publicly available careers pages and employers' hiring systems. I publish the company name, the role, the location, the work mode and my own short description. I do not copy the text of the postings.
I am not an employment agency or a recruitment intermediary. I do not run recruitment, I do not collect CVs and I have no influence on the hiring process. You apply directly with the employer, through their system.
I do my best to keep listings current: I check the links and remove roles older than 60 days. I cannot guarantee, however, that every listing is open at a given moment, and I am not responsible for the content or the conditions offered by the employer.
Employers: if you do not want your listing shown here, write to [email protected]. I remove it without asking why, usually the same day.
5. Paid listings for employers
The price and the publication period are stated on the post a job page. A listing is published after payment and approval of its content. I reserve the right to refuse a listing that is unlawful, misleading or discriminatory. In that case I refund the full amount.
6. Digital products
The ebook is delivered to the e-mail address you provide immediately after the payment is confirmed. Payments are handled by Stripe.
Right of withdrawal: for digital content delivered immediately, by placing the order you agree to delivery starting before the withdrawal period ends and you acknowledge that you lose the right to withdraw from the contract. If the file did not arrive or is damaged, write to me and I will fix it or refund you.
7. Services for companies
I provide consulting services personally, under a separate agreement with the client.
The scope, price and timeline of each consulting service are agreed individually in a separate agreement or order confirmation. The terms stated on the site are for information only and do not constitute an offer within the meaning of the Polish Civil Code.
8. Copyright
The texts, materials and products on this site are my work and are protected by copyright. You may use them for your own personal use. Copying, resale and public distribution require my consent.
Company names and trademarks shown next to listings belong to their owners and are used only to identify the listing.
9. Complaints
Send complaints to [email protected]. I reply within 14 days.
10. Changes to these terms
I may change these terms, for example when the law or the scope of services changes. I announce material changes in the newsletter in advance. Orders placed before a change are governed by the terms in force at the time of the order.
